Gimbal & Tracking
Matt’s skateboarding background has allowed him to combine his passion for film and skating, allowing him to operate a gimbal or handheld cinema camera while on an electric longboard, Onewheel, or Hoverboard.
This unique combination offers dynamic camera movement up to 45km/h in open spaces or on-road, and up to 22km/h in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, or off-road. It’s the perfect option for shooting in locations that are too tight for a tracking vehicle or dolly, or when rigging time is limited.
Using the longboard or Onewheel, Matt can smoothly transition from fast-paced tracking shots into slower, more precise walking shots by simply stepping off the board, allowing for extended one-takes and complex indoor-outdoor sequences.
The Hoverboard can easily navigate narrow hallways and tight corners or float seamlessly around subjects in a studio environment.

Matt is an experienced DOP and camera operator with over a decade of experience crafting cinematic, story-led films across the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. He is equipped with a deep understanding of the full production pipeline, including creative development, pre-production, lighting, camera operation, and post-production, bringing both creative vision and technical expertise to every shoot.
Working alongside a diverse array of clients, including Red Bull Racing, Toyota, Coca-Cola, WeChat, Woolworths, Arc’teryx, Honda, and many more. He is equipped to lead productions of any size across a range of industries, adapting seamlessly from fast-paced solo shoots to large-scale studios and on-location crews.
Matt is confident operating handheld, on gimbal, dolly, crane and studio rigs on a wide range of camera systems from ARRI, RED, Sony, Panasonic, Blackmagic, Canon and more.
Aerial
Matt offers cinematic aerial filming using both standard drones and high-speed FPV (First Person View) setups, delivering striking visuals that elevate any project with energy, scale, and perspective.
Licensed and experienced across multiple drone platforms, including DJI Inspire series, Mavic series, and custom FPV rigs. Matt captures smooth, sweeping establishing shots and dynamic, fast-paced fly-throughs. His aerial work has been used in commercial campaigns, automotive shoots, real estate, and action sports.
Post-Production
With a deep understanding of narrative flow, pacing, and visual polish, Matt offers full post-production services that turn raw footage into powerful, emotionally resonant content. Whether working from material he’s shot himself or collaborating with other creatives, he approaches editing as an extension of storytelling, refining the message, enhancing mood, and ensuring every frame serves the final vision.
From fast-turnaround social edits to long-form brand films, music videos, and cinematic campaign pieces, Matt handles all aspects of post, including editing, colour grading, sound design, and motion graphics. He’s skilled in the full Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and other industry-standard tools, able to deliver high-quality, platform-ready content across formats.

Matt’s photography blends technical skill with an editorial eye, capturing clean, intentional imagery that feels real and refined. From branded lifestyle shoots to products, portraits, and event coverage, his approach is rooted in storytelling, ensuring each image serves a purpose and connects with its audience.
He has photographed campaigns across a wide range of industries, including food, fitness, fashion, automotive, and music. His work has appeared in both digital and print campaigns for global brands. Matt delivers thoughtful, high-quality photography with consistency and style.
